A gathering specially organized for THE MAN, Eric. (and the rest of us of course) We wanted a tell-all, an answer to our burning questions and a demystification of the crazy things we’ve heard. After a few rounds of moseying around, we still got nowhere close to the scoop. Hmm…we’ll let you off this time! =p
Made sandwiches and salad for lunch. Something uncomplicated since there was Bena’s Key Lime Pie, Hon’s Jap Tofu and Nachos with Guacamole to fill our tummies. Of course I didn’t have the luxury of cooking up a storm since I was flying back (on a car though) from an awesome meeting with EC folks and Kosnik at Orchard. Did my shopping for ingredients within 12min…record time! Everyone was full to “up here” *puts hand above head* so Andy’s donuts will be saved for supper or tomorrow’s breakfast. (:
Made beef burger sandwiches (from real fresh minced beef, not rendered cattle parts) with Muenster cheese melt, slow-cooked tangy tomato sauce and arrugula on wholegrain or batard.
Also a grilled portabello mushroom with shaved ham sandwich topped with creme fraiche and arrugula on walnut bread.
Great to see everyone happy and well…of course we could never avoid having to dodge the relationship-related questions…only weili was qualified to sit through those like a zen master.
